Sneak Peek!!!

Here are a few photos from a shoot that I did yesterday of Zoe Laine. She is so beautiful, I hope that you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed taking them. Christy and Darren thanks for being my first official clients in the new studio, it was great to meet you and Zoe and I can not wait to take more pictures of her growing up.

Update!

Just a quick up date, things have been crazy. The studio is looking good, Niki painted the bathroom Friday and on Sunday her and Daniel hung the curtains, the TV, mirror, and the shelves in the waiting area. It looks really good and they did a great job, thanks so much for all of your hard work Niki and Daniel. Of course I did not just sit around, well yeah I kind of did. I was working the Craft show at the Ponchatratrain center, it was terrible. They had a lot of people, but not alot of buying going on. The people that made money were the ones selling food. Hummm - maybe the next show I will make cupcakes......Cupcakes by Mary..... Another business, can I handle it.... NOT! I will prevail and find my nich or just make mine stand out better, maybe I should invest in a neon sign.

Studio is coming along.

Hi All!

The studio is coming along nicely, still alot to do before the August 1st opening. Niki has her big show this weekend in Baton Rouge and I have a big show next weekend in New Orleans, so that is taking some time away from the studio, but we will get it done, I am sure of it.

Me and Travis went and saw Transformers 2 last night with our good friends Heidi and Corey, it was good, not much of a story line but alot of action. Of course Skylar was still waiting up for us when we got in at 1:30 am, not sure what I am going to do about her sleeping habits, or lack thereof, she never sleeps and all I want to do is sleep!

I will be posting some new photos of the studio soon and from Niki's bridal show. Till then have a great weekend!

Newsletter

Finally got our first newsletter designed.

We already have some people inquiring about making appointments. SO exciting! Hopefully we will open with a bang and stay that way! We are going to have more exciting events coming up like photography classes and parties. So keep an eye out. Will post some more pictures tomorrow after our couch arrives. Lots to do before August 1st.

4th of July and Studio Talk

Hope everyone had a wonderful and safe 4th of July. We had a very busy holiday weekend. On Friday, me and Niki went shopping for the new studio from 8:30 am till 9:00pm! We were so tired but we got alot done, I think it is going to look great when we are done. The couch comes in on Thursday, so I will post some more photos then. I can't wait till is is done, I am one of those people that just want it finished, but really don't want to deal with it at the same time. I am working on our newsletter today and hope to have it sent out by tomorrow of Wednesday, it is going to be filled with all kinds of great information. On Sunday we spent most of the day cleaning the studio and Niki went and got more things from Lowes, I got a few things moved in but have alot more to go. Well I better get back to work, but I leave you with a few photos of my husband cooking on his father days gift for the 4th.

Our Studio!!!

Well here it is our new studio space! We are so excited, this is going to be great and look great when we are done. Thanks again to Lisa and Charlotte they are the best landlords ever! Our grand opening is set for August 1st, be on the look out for specials and more info soon.
